If Peddi Censor Talk Is True, It Will Be Atrocious

MegaPowerstar Ram Charan’s latest movie “Peddi” is getting ready for a massive release on June 4th, and already the promotional blitzkrieg has started post the trailer release. Though it’s coming out that the background score given by AR Rahman hasn’t impressed many, the trailer is getting a terrific response from the North Indian circuit. Already, Jio Star, the major distribution partner of the movie in the North, is pushing the film heavily. And here comes a stunning piece of news.

Apparently, the film’s Censoring was done on Wednesday, and it was awarded a U/A certificate with some cuts. But it’s not the length of the movie or the cuts that are being talked about now; however, it’s the talk that is coming from the people who have watched the film. They say that the film is going to be a blockbuster that will end the drought in Tollywood. Ever since Sankranthi, films like Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu have turned out to be money spinners; there’s no other hit film that came to theatres, and Tollywood is facing severe scarcity of a blockbuster now. If Peddi turns out to be one, then surely it is going to be a festival season in the Telugu industry along with the upcoming monsoon.

On the other hand, Peddi is mostly an emotional second half, as per the reports, and that might shock the fans a bit. However, family audiences are most likely to watch the film a couple of times, as the movie’s motivational angle in the second half is said to have come out quite well. They say that Charan is likely to win many awards for his performance, maybe a National Award this time.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is bankrolled by Vriddhi Cinemas and features Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady.
