Other day, when Netflix announced the number of Telugu films it has already acquired, many got stunned to see that some of the happening Telugu films that are about to hit cinemas in the next two years, have been acquired by the streaming giant. At this moment, here comes a talk about Ram Charan’s Peddi movie.

Coming as his next outing after the super success of “RRR”, ignoring the flop show of “Game Changer”, fans of Ram Charan have pinned their hopes on the Buchibabu directorial Peddi. The film’s first single, Chikri Chikri, has taken fame to the next level after it became a chartbuster in the whole of India. Guess what, all this fame helped the film clock a mighty OTT deal.

The talk is that Peddi has raked in big numbers, somewhere between ₹100-150 crores from the OTT deal itself, thus making a name for itself. No Telugu film has clocked such big numbers in recent times, but the success of Chikri song, Buchibabu’s Uppena getting a National Award, AR Rahman’s presence and with Bollywood heartthrob Jhanvi Kapoor being the heroine, helped Peddi a lot. All these factors helped the film secure a massive payout from the streaming giant.

Also, the makers have confirmed again and Ram Charan too iterated the Peddi will be hitting cinemas in March 2026 without any delay.
