Peddi Release Date: New Rumour On New Date

One of the big films Tollywood fans are waiting to celebrate is none other than RRR star Ram Charan’s next. After the super success of the Chikiri song, the buzz over “Peddi” has grown multifold. Both Ram Charan and his producers, Mythri Movie Makers, have confirmed that the film will hit cinemas on March 27th as planned. Here goes the twist now.

Though the film’s re-recording work is in progress by composer AR Rahman, it’s coming out that Ram Charan’s movie wants to avoid an unwanted clash with two biggies that are hitting around the same date. One is the Bollywood superhit Dhurandhar movie’s sequel, Dhurandhar 2, the second one is Yash’s pan-Indian movie Toxic, whose teaser created superior buzz. Reports are doing the rounds that Peddi is considering May 1st as the new release date.

In fact, there are no biggies confirmed for May 2026 release so far, and the likes of Akhil’s Lenin and other medium-range films have locked this period. Probably that’s the reason Charan's Peddi comfortably considered moving to this theatre. We have to see if the makers will confirm anything about these date-change rumours.
