VFX Talk On Ram Charan’s Peddi - Waste Of Time
Apparently, some discussions have started on Peddi’s new Pehelwan glimpse, which was released the other day, and is getting a great response from fans.;
These are the days when some audience members are doing frame-by-frame scrutiny of movies. They are literally doing that, in fact. Some of the things, like director Boyapati Sreenu acting as Ram Pothineni’s body double, and graphics extensively used to replace Prabhas in The Raja Saab, have all got extensive attention due to people doing a post-mortem of each frame of a movie. And right now, some are trying to make Ram Charan’s upcoming biggie “Peddi” land there.
Apparently, some discussions have started on Peddi’s new Pehelwan glimpse, which was released the other day, and is getting a great response from fans. The talk is that some say the makers of Peddi might have used Visual Effects to showcase Ram Charan’s 6-pack body in the movie. As Charan cracked up big time in the role of a wrestler, showcasing his shredded body transformation, some are expressing doubts if he has done this for real. Well, when heroes use such visual effects, it’s easy to find out, as we have seen in some recent biggies these days, how heads are attached to the bodies of body doubles. Here, in Peddi’s case, surely the visuals themselves prove that Charan’s fitness and body shapes are real, so let’s not waste time on discussing the VFX involvement in that.
There are many heroes in Tollywood, including the likes of Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun and Prabhas, who have carved out terrific bodies when their films demanded. Though some stars might have used body doubles because of the knee-pain issues they have, that doesn’t mean they are getting a ‘six-pack’ through VFX. While, Salman Khan used to make VFX folks add a six-pack over his belly when he’s in the shirtless look, in Telugu cinema, most stars did it themselves in the gym rather in a computer lab.
