So, Jr NTR’s Peddi Is The Same Story?

With the arrival of the newest glimpse from “Peddi”, where it is revealed that Mega hero Ram Charan will be playing the role of a Pehelwan (Kusti/wrestler) inside the movie, it is proven that the film has multiple sports tracks or so. However, more than that, many are wondering why this story was rejected by Jr NTR earlier, and why it didn’t materialise for Buchi Babu Sana after Uppena.

Earlier, director Buchi Babu Sana was supposed to do a film with Jr NTR after Uppena's success and travelled with him for two years, before moving to Ram Charan. Later, the director confirmed that both are different stories. However, back then, it came out that the story told to Jr NTR is that of a wrestler, who loses his legs in an accident and finally becomes a coach of a wrestling team. But when Charan Peddi’s glimpses are coming out, as the film dealt with cricket, many thought it was a different story. But the birthday glimpse has proven that this is the same story narrated to Jr NTR earlier. We have to see what Buchi Babu will say.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR and Buchi Babu might team up sometime later as Mythri Movie Makers is said to be trying to set up this combination for some time. While Buchi has no other film than Peddi in the pipeline, Jr NTR has Prashanth Neel’s Dragon on the sets currently. Whether he takes up Devara 2 or not is yet to be known, but the star hero has multiple films with star Tamil directors planned thereafter.
