Charan’s Hand Injury: The Man Reveals What Happened

In fact, everyone knows that recently when the team of “Peddi” is in the last leg of the shoot, Ram Charan got injured big time. Without even a couple of days' rest, he has continued to the shooting, and now he’s appearing with a hand-support brace and wrist banding at the events. Speaking about the same at the Mumbai trailer launch event, Charan revealed what exactly happened on the sets of Peddi that day.

“In fact, we are shooting the scenes of wrestling in Hyderabad recently in a long schedule. However, I’ve asked Buchi Babu to use expert stunt masters and teach them wrestling so that they would act quite well. But the director wanted authenticity and used real wrestlers in the scene. Their grip is so tight that my hand got squeezed, and a cartilage tear happened. That’s the sweet memory this role has left for me,” said Charan, in a smiling tone, explaining that the injury will heal in some time.

Meanwhile, when asked to lift the mace at the event, Charan explained his inability to lift it because his hand had been injured. However, he thanked everyone for supporting him and stated that he had dedicated almost 2 years to Peddi, as the script demanded it, and revealed that Buchi Babu has dedicated almost 5 years to the movie. Even AR Rahman praised Charan for his efforts, and stated that the hero is spreading his charms in every single frame with that terrific screen presence.
