Controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is having a tough time after the uprooting of the YCP government in Andhra Pradesh. The newly formed NDA government in AP is going all out against him and trying to nab him at the earliest. In accordance, he was served notices by the police to attend the investigation in AP.

The AP police are noting that RGV must appear in front of them for investigation in the cases pertaining to the abusive posts shared by RGV on social media against Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan. It also has something to do with RGV's controversial films like Lakshmi's NTR.

While the AP police are actively persuing the cases against RGV, the filmmaker is trying his best to ward off the interest and trying to step away from the same.

He has approached the court and mentioned that he might be put through third degree torture if he is nabbed by the police. In this context, he has sought anticipatory bail from the high court. He is doing everything in his power to escape the police action in AP.

This comes as a rude shock to the veteran filmmaker who was once ruling the roost in Indian cinema. He is now in a position where he is having to approach the court to evade third degree treatment from the police. But the AP police are not with standing of the same as they continue to file cases against him on a regular basis.
