Ramayana: Ex Miss Universe Plays Queen Kaikeyi

As the release of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film “Ramayana” is likely to hit cinemas on November 6th, on the eve of Diwali, the makers are slowly releasing the first look posters of various characters from the movie. Already we knew from the trailer that the likes of Rakul Preet and others doing some crucial characters in the movie, but here is a new addition.

Apparently, former Miss Universe and heroine, Lara Dutta, is actually playing the role of Queen Kaikeyi in the movie. And Bollywood’s most talented character artist Sheebha Cheddha is playing the role of Mandara, the personal assistant of Kaikeyi, who actually triggers the whole events in the Ramayana to a new high. These two are said to have done only a few scenes in the movie, but then, they are quite explosive.

While Rakul Preet is playing Lord Ravana’s sister in the film, Yash is playing Lord Ravan and everyone is looking forward to witnessing that epic clash between them. Also the film is expected to have a great world premiere in Los Angeles though the USA release will happen only a whilte later than the original Indian versions in Hindi, Telugu and others.
