After looking at films like Adipurush and other Ramayana-based movies in recent times, many wondered why director Nitesh Tiwari is making another version of the epic. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, and Yash as Lord Ravana, the epic is made on a grand scale with amazing visual effects and is hitting cinemas on November 5th, as the Diwali holidays kick off.

Guess what, like any other mass film or even this devotional drama that features the story of the highly revered Indian epic, has sold tickets like anything else. The film sold out more tickets than any other mass film even before 9 days of release. Currently, the worldwide ticket sales collection stands at a little over $2.15 million, which is more than ₹20 crores. That’s a massive feat, and considering the fact that there is more than a week to go, it will make more pre-sales.

As per the box office updates, currently the North America previews collected around $550K, and the Indian collection stood at nearly ₹10 crores. Guess what, of these, Hindi version contributed more because of the 4200+ shows that were scheduled, while the Kannada and Telugu versions are together just 400 shows so far. Telugu and Kannada versions are said to have contributed around ₹1 crore in this.
