The upcoming film Ramayana: Part 1 is one of the biggest Indian film projects. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Yash as Ravana, the film is scheduled to release worldwide on November 5. However film is yet to create the expected excitement among Telugu audiences.

Despite its huge budget, star cast and grand visuals, the buzz around Ramayana in Tollywood seems lower than expected. The makers have been promoting the film through interviews, special events and emotional presentations. But these efforts have not created the strong connection that many expected among Telugu movie lovers.

One major reason could be that the Ramayana story is already familiar to Telugu audiences. The epic has been presented through several films, television serials and other forms of storytelling over the years. Many people have grown up watching and listening to the story of Lord Rama.

Because of this, audiences may not be excited simply because another Ramayana film is being made. They want to see what is new in this version. The makers need to show how the film offers a different experience through its storytelling, performances, emotional depth and visual effects.

The film's grand scale and international appeal may attract audiences, but Telugu viewers also expect a strong emotional connection with the story. A powerful presentation of the characters and their relationships could play an important role in bringing them to theatres.

Interestingly film has reportedly crossed Rs 100 crore in worldwide advance bookings, with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana also showing minimum response.

With the release just around the corner, the makers may need to focus more on Telugu-specific promotions. Special interviews, interactions with Telugu media, regional events and content highlighting the film's emotional aspects could help create more interest. However there is only one day for release and has to be seen how the film will perform in Telugu states.
