Excitement For Commercial Cinema Is Unparalleled: Ram

Energetic hero Ram Pothineni is ready to thrill and entertain the audience with 'Double Ismart' on 15th August. The trailer launch event happened in Vizag and it was attended by a lot of youth. While Puri was busy with work, the rest of the team turned up and pleased the audience. During his speech, Ram looked very confident about this script and expressed his excitement over this project.

He said, “Puri Garu is the quintessential name in commercial cinema. Crafting a commercial film is no easy task, and the success rate is notoriously low. But when a commercial film hits the mark, the resulting excitement is unparalleled, transforming the theater experience into a grand celebration. I'm confident this film will achieve that.”

Talking about how 'Ismart Shankar' was made, he revealed, “In December 2018, Puri asked me to meet him in Goa. We were brainstorming ideas for our next film and then I proposed creating a character that would stand a memorable figure for the next decade. This conversation led to the creation of the character "iSmart Shankar," a film brimming with high-energy, and mental mass madness. Experiencing the first cut was electrifying, and I told Puri Garu that if even a small portion of the audience felt the excitement I did, I'd be incredibly satisfied.”

He further added, “Coming to Double ISMART, it is a combination of a character with mental mass madness and a kick-ass script. The result was a script that pushed boundaries and posed significant challenges. Kavya is a true gem and a delightful person to work with. In Puri Garu's films, Ali Garu usually plays notable roles. Although I didn't have the chance to work directly with Ali Garu this time, the overall experience was enjoyable.”

Charmme and Puri are bankrolling this film. Hollywood cinematographer Gianni Giannelli is working for this high-voltage action entertainer. Kecha is the action choreographer. Sam K Naidu also worked on the visuals while Sanjay Dutt is playing the villain.
