Ranabaali is one of the recently released Telugu films. Starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the film's break-even status has been widely discussed recently. However, the film's producer Ravi has confirmed that the film has reached the break-even stage in almost every territory where it was released, except for a couple of regions.
Trade reports say Ranabaali has recovered about 75% to 76.19% of its worldwide pre-release business so far. Reportedly, the worldwide share Target is around ₹43 crore, with theatrical business targets estimated between ₹43 crore and ₹60–63 crore share depending on regional deals. The buzz is that it has recovered over ₹30 crore+ in share, leaving roughly ₹9.5 crore to ₹13 crore more to hit a full worldwide breakeven.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers on a budget of roughly ₹120–130 crore, the film secured around ₹60 crore through non-theatrical, which means satellite and digital rights, before release. The film faced a tougher run in North America, grossing over $933K against a higher target. However, in all other areas, the film almost passed the break-even mark.
Interestingly, Mythri has been adopting a new strategy of not stopping the promotions irrespective of the film's result. Even Ranabaali got a mixed result but the team tried to promote the film without over exaggeration, contributing to a positive word of mouth altogether.
