Ranbir To Become Ram as 'Ramayan' to Begin From Summer
After playing an alpha male role who has a lot of flaws, sources say that he is gearing to become the idealist lord Ram in 'Ramayana'.
Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor is riding high on the success of 'Animal'. The intense action saga filled with emotions struck a chord with the audience. Irrespective of the criticism, the movie is collecting huge and it has already crossed the 750 crore mark. After playing an alpha male role who has a lot of flaws, sources say that he is gearing to become the idealist lord Ram in 'Ramayana'.
This news is confirmed by the star hero himself. Based on the epic Hindu mythology, 'Ramayana' is going to be made on a grand budget with 'Dangal' and 'Chichchore' fame Nitesh Tiwari directing it. A lot of names like Hrithik Roshan and Alia Bhatt were linked to this project but it is Ranbir Kapoor who is finalized to play the role of lord Ram while talented actress Sai Pallavi is expected to be seen as lord Sita in this film. If sources are to be believed, Kannada star hero Yash has agreed to play the role of Ravanasura. But the official announcement is yet to arrive.
If the shooting begins in summer 2024, the project may take at least a year or two to get wrapped up. The makers don't want to make the same mistakes that happened in 'Adipurush' which faced a lot of criticism from activists as well as the common public. We need to wait and see if they successfully make an epic saga like 'Ramayana' in a convincing manner or not. The star cast generates a lot of positive vibes and fans can't wait to hear more about this prestigious project.
