Hero Steps Out After 40 Cr Pre Production: Producer Furious!

Bollywood Hero Ranveer Singh has been facing several challenges with regard to his creative choices in the recent past as he has been cancelling several films even after official announcements.

A major dispute has reportedly emerged between actor Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment following his exit from the much anticipated film Don 3. The disagreement has escalated into a financial standoff worth nearly 40 crore rupees, drawing attention across the film industry.

According to sources, Excel Entertainment claims it has suffered significant losses during the pre production phase. These include expenses related to scripting, casting discussions, scheduling, location planning, and other preparatory work that was undertaken with Ranveer Singh as the lead.

The production house believes the actor’s sudden withdrawal has disrupted long term planning and caused avoidable financial damage.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is said to have stepped away due to unresolved script concerns and creative differences.

Reports suggest he was not fully convinced with the final narration and direction of the project, leading him to opt out before the film went on floors. His team maintains that creative satisfaction is crucial for a franchise of this scale.

With both sides holding firm to their positions, the Producers Guild has now stepped in to mediate the issue. Discussions are reportedly underway to find a fair resolution, as the industry closely watches how this high profile disagreement unfolds.
