Ranveer even stated that Daiva Chavundi of coastal Karnataka is a ‘female ghost’, at the same time, Rishabh Shetty tried to stop him.

While the clips of Ranveer's performance went viral online, people from Karnataka have filed cases at various Police stations in the state, citing the hero's act as offensive and hurting religious sentiments.
