There is no debating the fact that Rao Ramesh is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema. This time, he is turning full-length main lead for Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam which is up for release on the 23rd of August.
As the promotions have commenced, the trailer of the film was released by none other than Global Star Ram Charan today. As expected, the trailer offers endless entertainment with Rao Ramesh being the focal point of the comedic proceedings.
Interestingly, Thabitha Sukumar, the wife of ace director Sukumar is presenting the film while Mythri Movie Makers are releasing it in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya produced the film under PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Creations banner.
Rao Ramesh is seen as a middle class man who is struggling with family issues. His wife wants him to quit smoking, his son Ankith Koyya wants him to set right his love life while he goes around saying he is Allu Aravind's son. Then there is a banking mishap that adds more spice to Rao Ramesh's life.
The trailer clearly shows that Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam is a healthy comedy entertainer with hilarious comedy blocks spread through the course of the narrative. It is good to see Rao Ramesh in such a funky vibe and bringing the house down with his trademark comedy timing.
The dialogue towards the end that goes like "Naaku Bhayama vesi vesi.... veyatam maanesindi" perfectly describes Rao Ramesh's character and it leaves the viewers in splits. It is clear that the director of the film, Lakshman Karya is coming up with a hilarious comedy caper this time around.
