Which Way Would This Married Starlet Go?

Often in Bollywood, if we look at star heroines like Alia Bhatt or Kiara Advani, even after getting married and also delivering a child, these heroines have sizzled in absolutely stunning commercial films, and even did lip-locks with other heroes. But when it comes to the South, somehow married and aged heroines who get to peak stardom change completely later on.

Here we have Nayanthara, who has stopped doing commercial movies unless it’s a Shah Rukh Khan film, and is doing only her-centric subjects as movies. Then comes the likes of Anushka, who have started picking up only content-driven movies after a point of time, and stopped doing commercial films that require her glam side, especially after Baahubali. Even Samantha took the path of deglam roles after marriage, but she took some confused steps until Maa Inti Banagaram saved her. But that might not work all the time. Now comes Rashmika Mandanna.

After marriage, Rashmika is coming up with movies like Ranabaali, where she’s doing a deglam role, and then coming up with Mysaa too. Both these films offered her roles that don’t require glamour, unlike how she poured it into Cocktail 2. However, whether Rashmika continues her glamorous stint, which made her popular, or keeps improving her acting chops and delivers something interesting is to be seen. Which way would she go?
