An eight-year-old back audio clip of Rashmika Mandanna’s mother is being circulated on Kannada News Channels in recent times, after she got married to actor Vijay Devarakonda. With the news getting viral, none other than Rashmika has jumped into the scene, responding to the whole fiasco.
Apparently, inside that voice clip, Rashmika’s mom stated that they never liked their daughter’s relationship with a 35-year-old guy (Rakshit Shetty) when she was just 21 years old. After the engagement, when Rashmika did the Geetha Govindam movie, Rakshit is said to have got upset with the kissing scenes, and wanted the actress to quit the acting job post marriage, she further added. However, this is an old revelation, and Rashmika says that this is an intrusion of privacy.
Her statement read: “An old private conversation, believed to be from nearly eight years ago, appears to have been recorded and circulated without the knowledge or consent of those involved. A small portion of that conversation has now been deliberately taken out of context and circulated widely to create yet another discomforting controversy- strategically coinciding with recent developments in my personal life.”
She further said, “How far can people go? In doing so, they have dragged my family along with people I share cordial relationships with, who have absolutely nothing to do with this matter, into discomfort. This constitutes a serious invasion of privacy and the circulation of misleading and defamatory material. While we move forward in life, grow, create meaningful work, and spread positivity, it is unfortunate that a few continue to manufacture hate and controversy at the cost of another person's dignity and peace”.
Asking all the people who have uploaded that audio clip to remove it in the next 24 hours, or she will take legal action.
