Rashmika suffered the injury while shooting a dance sequence for her upcoming film Mysaa. The injury was serious and affected one of the tendons in her right hip. She needed time to recover before she could return to her regular work.

The actress had earlier spoken about her injury with her fans on social media. She said that she had hoped to keep the matter private but later decided to share an update. Rashmika explained that one of the tendons connecting her hip and leg had become detached. Because of this, she had difficulty lifting her leg properly.

According to Rashmika, the injury happened during the shooting of a dance sequence for Mysaa. She described the film as one of the most physically demanding projects she has worked on. She also called the injury an unexpected accident.

During her recovery period, Rashmika stayed mostly at home. She used the time to rest and enjoy a slower routine. Looking back at her break, she appeared happy about the time she got to spend away from her busy professional schedule. However, she also admitted that she would miss those peaceful days once she returned to work.

Now, the actress is ready to get back to her film commitments. Her return is likely to excite fans who have been waiting to see her on screen again.

Mysaa is directed by Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films. The movie is said to be an emotional action thriller set in tribal areas. It is also being presented as Rashmika's first female-led pan-India action film.

The film is expected to release in cinemas in 2026. With Rashmika preparing to return to the sets, attention is now on her upcoming project and her action-packed role.
