Vikramarkudu Kid Battles Health Scare, Fans Worried!

Ravi Rathod, remembered as the young boy from Vikramarkudu, is going through a rough patch in life. Once taken under the wing of actor-choreographer Raghava Lawrence, Ravi was given a chance at a better future, he was enrolled in a good school and supported by Lawrence himself. But Ravi, who couldn’t keep up with academics, returned to his village during a holiday and never went back. From there, life slowly shifted into a series of odd jobs and quiet struggle.

In an interview, Ravi opened up about his battle with alcohol addiction. He said he was scared to face Lawrence again, fearing he’d be scolded for leaving school and going off track. But when Lawrence heard about his condition, he responded with kindness. He posted online, saying he wouldn’t scold him and urged Ravi to come meet him.

Ravi finally gathered the courage and went to Chennai. Lawrence welcomed him, gave him ₹50,000, and arranged medical tests to help him quit drinking. Ravi admitted that he used part of the money to buy a mobile phone but says he hasn’t touched alcohol since. Doctors warned him that mixing alcohol with medication could be life-threatening, and that was enough for him to stop.

Ravi now deals with leg pain and kidney stones, making it hard for him to walk. His friend confirmed the diagnosis after they visited Chennai. Despite the pain and setbacks, Ravi says he’s done with drinking for good and wants to fix his life. He’s promised Lawrence that he’ll stay on the right path. Whether this becomes a turning point is something only time will show.
