Raviteja Not Rushing To Sankranthi, This Is Why

In fact, even before the release of “Irumudi”, it is being planned that Raviteja’s next film, directed by Hasith Goli and produced by Dil Raju, will be hitting the cinemas on the eve of Sankranthi. With Dil Raju bankrolling the movie, surely there will be no shortage of theatres, no matter how hard the competition is. But then, here’s the twist.

Apparently, after looking at the twist of Irumudi at the box office- a film that was supposed to be okay, but scored a stupendous run with more than ₹180 crores gross collection already- surely Raviteja’s plans are changing. Reports are coming that rather than rushing for a Sankranthi holiday release, with the only reason being cashing in on the holiday season, Raviteja wants to take time and deliver a good film that works, in the lines of Irumudi.

For that reason, Raviteja is said to have asked Dil Raju to take things slowly, so that they could focus more on the creative part. For now, Sankranthi 2027 has movies like Chiranjeevi’s Kaaka, Venky-Anil’s January 12 Vidudala, Saidharam Tej’s Sambarala Yeti Gattu, Sharwa’s George Krish locked for release. Other small films are also joining in big time.
