Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has been struggling with continuous failures at the box office. His recent film Mass Jathara disappointed even his loyal fans, failing to attract audiences or generate decent openings. Before that too, several of his films didn’t perform well. Now, the actor is determined to get back on track and win back his audience’s trust.

Ravi Teja has shifted his full focus to his next film titled Bhartha Mahashayulaku Vignapthi, directed by Kishore Tirumala. The movie is planned for a grand Sankranti 2026 release. In an interesting move, Ravi Teja is reportedly working without taking any advance payment for this project. Instead, he plans to take a share of the film’s profits after its release.

According to reports, the actor is working day and night to ensure the film is completed on time. Sankranti is one of the biggest festive seasons for Telugu cinema, and Ravi Teja believes releasing the film then could give it a strong boost at the box office. Even an average film, if released during Sankranti, can perform well due to the festive mood.

Earlier, Ravi Teja planned to release Eagle and Mass Jathara during Sankranti, but both were postponed due to unavoidable reasons. This time, he doesn’t want to miss the festival window at any cost.

Ravi Teja’s remuneration was once around ₹25 crore, but after several flops, he reportedly reduced it to ₹15 crore for Mass Jathara. By skipping his pay for Bhartha Mahashayulaku Vignapthi, he hopes to gain more through profit sharing if the film becomes a hit.
