Raviteja’s Final Paycheck Blows Your Minds

While the likes of Pawan Kalyan charged a cool ₹50 crores up front for #OG, that was the highest among the senior heroes. Then there is Raviteja who is said to have demanded around ₹10-15 crores as a pay packet for his latest film “Irumudi” after a series of his films bombed at the box office. But then the magic happened differently.

Apparently, Mythri Movie Makers paid only a ₹2 crore sum up front as remuneration and gave him the Nizam rights of the movie as the balance payment of ₹8 crores. They thought that Irumudi might do averagely at the box office. However, in the final run, the film collected nearly ₹60 crores including GST. In these numbers, if you take out GST and the 5% distribution commission, a cool ₹45-47 crores comes home to Raviteja. That means the actor has pocketed simply ₹50 crores in the full run of the movie as his paycheck.

That wouldn’t happen every time, but then, heroes taking the Nizam rights as remuneration will be the biggest bet in the coming days. Any hero would love to take only a little sum up front and then take the balance payment through rights. However, producers might not be interested to do this with all the heroes anyway.
