Recently, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about ‘Bhajan Clubbing ’, many youths were stunned. It’s nothing but singing classical devotional songs in the modern way, and then enjoying together as a group in regular outfits, without any special poojas, and the clubbing done at usual conventional halls. That’s the trend among youth also. Here’s how the makers of Raviteja’s latest movie “Irumudi” are thinking about.
Even though “Irumudi” is hitting cinemas on August 21st, till date there is no kind of promotion being undertaken by the team, except the release of some songs. However, those songs are soulful but haven’t got any special attention from music lovers. Especially with those songs mostly devotional and soulful types, the makers are said to be thinking of hosting a ‘Bhajan Clubbing’ kind of event with the composer of the film GV Prakash, taking the charge.
Earlier, many thought that Irumudi is a movie that’s loosely based on the Malayalam film, where the hero is a police inspector and rescues a kidnapped girl by wearing the Swamy Mala. However, going by the content so far presented, it looks like Raviteja’s Irumudi is a pure devotional film, and many are wondering why the hero has suddenly taken up this. But the music event should be done to get attention for the film, so we have to see what happens. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing Raviteja's wife.
