The issue started after Jr NTR's official office released a statement saying that the actor has no connection with the RAW NTR group. Following this, some fans filed a police complaint, claiming that the group was using the actor's name without permission.
However, RAW NTR denied the allegations. The group said it is only involved in social service activities and is not doing anything wrong. Members also stated that they would stop their activities only if Jr NTR personally asks them to do so.
The controversy has now divided Jr NTR fans into three different groups.
The first group fully supports RAW NTR. They believe the organization is trying to unite fans and carry out charity and social service activities in the actor's name. These supporters have openly backed the group on social media.
The second group has chosen to stay neutral. They say they are loyal fans of Jr NTR but do not want to be part of any fan group or controversy. According to them, supporting the actor and enjoying his movies is more important than taking sides.
The third group is critical of RAW NTR.
These fans feel that using the actor's name for fundraising or other activities could create misunderstandings. They are also unhappy with some posters released by the group, including those mentioning a proposed ₹100 crore social initiative and another related to a canteen project. Critics say there is no clear explanation about how such funds would be collected or used.
RAW NTR has announced a press conference on July 18 in Tirupati. The group says it will explain its plans, funding process, and future social service activities in detail.
Despite the disagreements, one thing remains common among all three groups. Every section says its support for Jr NTR has not changed and that they do not want anything to harm the actor's image or reputation.
