'Indian 2' Trailer Creates Tension Among RC Fans!
It is safe to say that the trailer did not meet expectations and the trolls have already begun.
The trailer of 'Indian 2' has dropped on Tuesday amidst a lot of expectations. Kamal Haasan is playing the iconic Senapathi role once again after 28 years and Shankar made it on a grand scale. Apart from the Universal Hero, we have Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet, SJ Suriya, Bobby Simha and others playing main roles as well.
It is safe to say that the trailer did not meet expectations and the trolls have already begun. They are bashing Shankar for following the same template once again. Some complain that it is a rehash of Shankar's old movies like 'Shivaji', 'Aparichitudu', 'Gentleman' and 'Indian'. The societal issues are way too similar and the hero going after them like a vigilante is what Shankar has been showcasing in most of his movies.
Also, people are not impressed with Kamal's looks and the presentation of Senpathi's character. They say that the makeup 28 years back was more perfect than what they did in 'Indian 2' and people criticising the lack of seriousness in Kamal's character in this trailer. The trailer feels quite outdated and people are commenting that Shankar is damaging his own legacy due to the lack of new ideas.
Not just the Telugu and Hindi audience but the Tamil public themselves are disappointed with the trailer. With all these, Ram Charan's fans are now worried about the output of 'Game Changer'. It is Ram Charan's next film after 'RRR' and it needs to be perfect. Shankar spent a lot of time in the making and they are worried that Shankar's old screenplay might affect the film.
It is also true that one shouldn't judge a movie by the trailer and it might be Shankar's plan to not show the best in the trailer in order to avoid overhype. Let us wait and see if Shankar delivers on 12th July with 'Indian 2' and clears the concerns of Ram Charan fans or not.
