'Animal' is a movie that raised the expectations massively with the trailer. While there was good buzz on the film due to the teaser and songs, the trailer took things to another level. The movie is all set to hit the screens on 1st December and the pre-release event was also highly successful. As we know, the runtime of the film has been fixed for 3 hours and 21 minutes. The censor board gave 'A' certificate for this film and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga asked people not to worry about the length of the movie.

Insiders reveal that the first draft of the movie was 3 hours and 49 minutes long. Screening a 229-minute film is very tough as the theatre owners need to have two intervals. A lot of people may not prefer to sit in theatres for more than four hours. As it will be tough to have four shows with a 229-minute runtime, the makers worked very hard and condensed the film to 201 minutes. Ranbir Kapoor revealed it during the latest interview.

OTT platforms give a chance for the directors to showcase their vision with zero cuts. They don't need to worry about the runtime and so many scenes they want to keep in the final cut can be shown on streaming networks. A lot of films these days are releasing full versions on OTT platforms and many are hoping that 'Animal' team would do the same.

'Animal' is going to have an 18-minute uninterrupted action block that will keep the audience hooked. It is going to keep the viewers on the edge of their sets and intense action episode is expected to be one of the biggest assets of the movie. Anil Kapoor plays the father role in the movie while Bobby Deol is the villain. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as Ranbir's love interest.
