Vijay Deverakonda’s latest pan India film, Ranabaali, has received a strong response from audiences. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner and presented by T-Series.

After the film’s theatrical release, the team organised a grand success event called Ranabheri in Anantapur. The event brought together the film’s team to thank audiences for their support. Vijay Deverakonda spoke emotionally about his connection with Rayalaseema and explained why he made this film.

Co-producer Anurag Parvathneni thanked the audience for attending the event in large numbers. He said, "Thank you to everyone who came in such huge numbers for our Ranabheri event today. We are grateful to everyone who made Ranabaali such a big success. It makes us happy to hear that the film has connected well with the people."

Actress Easwari Rao also thanked the audience for supporting the film. She said, "This success is the result of the hard work of hundreds of people. Despite the negative campaigns, the audience has given us the real victory. The entire Ranabaali team will always be thankful to all of you."

Producer Naveen Yerneni expressed happiness over the film's performance. He said, "We are very happy with the success of Ranabaali. When a film receives appreciation and good box-office collections, it gives us great satisfaction. Thank you to the audiences who have made Ranabaali a blockbuster."

He also praised the director and the lead actors. He added, "Rahul had a strong vision to tell this story, and Vijay Deverakonda has done complete justice to the character of Ranabaali. Rashmika has lived the role of Jayamma."

He further added, "This is not a regular commercial film. It is an experimental attempt in many ways. The film received mixed talk at first, but the response improved from the evening onwards. Ranabaali has become the biggest blockbuster of Vijay's career, performing better than our earlier films with him, Dear Comrade and Kushi. The film is receiving appreciation along with good collections."

Producer Y. Ravi Shankar said that Vijay wanted to celebrate the film's success in Anantapur. He said, "It was Vijay's wish to organise an event for our film in Anantapur, and he was determined to make it happen here. Ranabaali is receiving a super-hit response in many places, but Rayalaseema is showing extraordinary support. Thank you for showering so much love on our film."

Rashmika Mandanna could not attend the event because she was busy with a shoot in Mumbai. However, she shared her happiness over the audience's response.

She said, "I miss all of you at this event. I could not come to Anantapur because I am shooting in Mumbai. Thank you for all the love you are showing Ranabaali. The reels and posts you are sharing on social media make me very happy. I am delighted that you are loving the character of Jayamma so much."

Director Rahul Sankrityan spoke about his childhood memories and his connection with Rayalaseema. He said, "I was born, raised and educated in Rayalaseema. I watched many superhit films here. It is a proud moment for me to see my film playing to house-full audiences in the theatres where I once enjoyed watching movies."

He explained that bringing lesser-known historical events to the screen was not easy. He said, "Making a big commercial film based on history, with such big stars, is not an easy task. With the support of my entire team, I was able to bring this vision to life."

Talking about the film's cultural connection, Rahul added, "This is a script into which I poured all my memories. That is why our culture is shown so beautifully in the film. Through Ranabaali, I feel that I have repaid, at least in part, the debt I owe to the land where I was born."

He also praised Vijay's performance, saying, "Just as Chiranjeevi garu and Balakrishna garu effortlessly delivered the Seema dialect, Vijay garu has done the same. His dialogues are drawing whistles in theatres."

Vijay Deverakonda's speech was one of the main highlights of the event. He spoke about the beauty, traditions and history of Telugu-speaking regions before explaining his emotional bond with Rayalaseema.

He said, "Telugu land is extraordinary, beautiful and rich in history. Our land has different festivals, traditions, dialects and people. Telangana, where I was born, has its own intensity, fighting spirit and energy in folk songs. Andhra Pradesh has beautiful surroundings, warm-hearted people, affection, wonderful festivals and lovely folk music."

Speaking about Rayalaseema, Vijay said, "Rayalaseema has given me so much. I studied here. There was a theatre in a place called Kothacheruvu where I used to watch films. Today, seeing our Ranabaali playing to house-full audiences in that very theatre makes me happier than I can express."

He also recalled shooting the film in Anantapur, Kurnool and Kadapa. The locations brought back memories of his student days.

Vijay explained that his intention was not just to act in a film but to tell the story of a land that had given him so much love. He said, "I did not make Ranabaali merely as an actor. I made it with the responsibility of telling the story of this land. I made this film with gratitude because I wanted to repay Rayalaseema for all the love it has given me."

He shared how much the audience's appreciation meant to him. Vijay said, "When an elderly man holds my hand and says that I have told the story of our heroes, it makes me very happy. Many people tell us that they feel as if they are seeing themselves on screen. The satisfaction I get from your love cannot be given by money or any award."

He concluded by saying, "The love you have shown Ranabaali has given meaning to my life as an actor. I said that Ranabaali would make Telugu cinema proud, and you have made those words come true. People will understand in the future how beautifully Rahul has made this film."
