Tollywood Meets Revanth Reddy Again: What’s Up?

The representatives of the Telugu film industry had been in frequent touch with Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy, and discussing a wide range of topics. This was again on display when a delegation of the Telugu film industry met with the chief minister last night.

The meeting between Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation highlights a strategic push to elevate Hyderabad into a global film hub.

The Telangana chief minister went on to speak about the kind of issues that are being faced by the film industry and also the workers associated with the same.

“Strikes cause losses to both sides; they should be avoided. I stand with the workers, but at the same time, the state’s interests are also important. Govt cannot remain silent if strikes are ongoing.

Small-budget producers should be supported. We will work to provide health insurance for film workers. Told producers not to neglect film workers. Requested producers to support skill development for film workers. Training for film workers will be provided at the Skill University” CM Revanth Reddy reportedly said.

Dil Raju was present at the meeting with the chief minister, and he is the one who mediated the whole conversation at an official capacity. The chief minister reportedly promised all kinds of support to the film industry in the days to follow as well.
