The deepfake video of Rashmika Mandanna which was released on social media has become a huge talking point. A lot of celebrities showed their support to the actress and expressed their concerns about the misuse of AI technology. Big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Naga Chaitanya, Mrunal Thakur, Chinmayi, Sai Dharam Tej and others supported the actress as she urged the government to take necessary action on the people who made such a video.

Someone morphed the face of Rashmika on the video of British Indian Instagram celebrity Zara Patel. While it is Zara who is walking into the lift in a pretty revealing dress flaunting her beauty in an uncomfortable manner, her face is replaced with Rashmika and people started believing it as well. With Rashmika expressing her concern and celebrities showcasing their support, politicians like Kavitha and KTR too responded on this through social media.

Apparently, the government ordered every website to stop sharing this video and demanded every social media platform to remove such content in the next 36 hours. Rashmika's 'Dear Comrade' co-star and good friend Vijay Devarakonda too reacted on this. He said, "Extremely important steps for the future. This shouldn't happen to anyone. Also, an efficient accessible cyber wing for quick crackdown and punishment will make people more secure."
