For his bravery, he was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra, India’s highest military honor. Her mother, Subhashini, is a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer. After her husband’s death, she founded the ‘Veer Ratna Foundation’ to support military wives and families.
