Mega Hero Celebrates Rebirth-Day

“Five years ago today, I was given a second chance at life, carried through by your prayers, love and unconditional support. I needed every single one of them. I've recovered 90% from my injuries. There are still a few things I'm working through, my speech and a few other challenges, but I'm getting there. One day at a time,” says mega hero Sai Dharam Tej, who was rechristened as Sai Dhurga Tej later.

Well, on September 10th evening back in 2021, Sai Dharam Tej met with a bike accident near Cable Bridge, Durgam Cheruvu, where his bike slipped on a mud patch, and he was severely injured. That date is exactly a day before Ganesh Nimarjan in Hyderabad, and that’s the reason the actor is calling today a rebirth day. After staying in hospital for more than a month, he was discharged, but his voice was badly affected.

“What I want you to know is this: your love never left my side. It gave me the strength to push through every difficult day, every setback and every moment when giving up would have been easier,” he further added, asking everyone to wear a helmet, which actually saved him that day. Back then, the accident filled the whole mega camp with a lot of sadness, but his recovery has stunned everyone.

Since then, Sai Dharam Tej has done very few films too; while Virupaksha got released, his other film, Sambaralu Yeti Gattu, is yet to see the light of day. Anyway, wishing the hero good luck after rebirth.
