Buzz: Salaar 2 Pushed Back As Prabhas Changes Plan

Superstar Prabhas is moving on to his next film after doing hungama with The Raja Saab for a couple of months. After his latest outing started to stream on the OTT platform Jio Hotstar, the star hero is making plans to kickstart the shooting of pending projects, starting with Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi.

Earlier, there were reports that Prabhas would join the shooting of Fauzi first, followed by Kalki 2, and then he might take up Salaar 2 shooting. However, with the makers of Salaar 2 announcing recently on Shruti Haasan’s birthday that the sequel is very much on and set for next year's release, many thought that the shooting would start soon. However, it looks like Salaar 2 has been moved out of the plan, as Prabhas wants to prioritise Kalki 2 first.

Reports are coming that while wrapping Fauzi, Prabhas will be joining the sets of Kalki 2 first, as director Nag Ashwin already locked the dates of the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Meanwhile, if he finds free-dates, Prabhas will be allocating them to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. Now that Prashant Neel is also busy with Jr NTR’s Dragon for six more months, we have to see what happens then.
