Is 'Salaar' Not A Two Part Film?

Just when people were wondering why there were no updates from 'Salaar' team during September, the team stunned everyone by announcing that the movie is postponed from 28th September. Now, the movie is all set to hit the screens on 22nd December and it will be locking horns with 'Dunki'. Prasanth Neel and team cited post-production works as the cause of the delay.

There is no chance of that happening now and the movie is all set to hit the screens within 50 days. The promotional campaign will begin soon but a recent update regarding the movie is leaving everyone shellshocked. The makers have officially announced that 'Salaar' will be coming out in two parts. The first part is named 'Ceasefire' as mentioned in the teaser as well.

While Prasanth Neel did not announce when the second part's shooting begins, the latest reports suggest that 'Salaar' is going to be a single film. Apparently, the entire story has been covered in the first part and the makers are reportedly planning to drop the idea of the second film. A few scenes which were short for 'Salaar 2' are being added to the first part and it includes a special item number as well. We need to wait and see if this is true or not.

Malayalam star hero Pruthvi Raj Sukumaran is playing a solid role in this movie while Jagapathi Babu is playing a key role. Shruti Hassan is the female lead while Ravi Basrur is giving the music. Vijay Kirangadur is producing the movie under Hombale Films banner and Prasanth Neel is the writer and director. Anbariv has choreographed the fights while big names like Bhuvan Gowda, Chalapathi, Ujwal Kulkarni, Ramarao and others have worked on this movie.
