Salaar: Here's All You Have To Know About Real Khansar
Set against the backdrop of a fictitious city known as Khansar, the film has successfully mesmerized audiences with its gripping narrative
"Salaar," the latest blockbuster directed by Prashant Neel and featuring the talented Prabhas, has taken the audience on an enthralling ride across the Telugu states and India. This film has stirred immense excitement among movie buffs, establishing itself as a sensational hit.
Set against the backdrop of a fictitious city known as Khansar, the film has successfully mesmerized audiences with its gripping narrative. However, a curious discussion has emerged regarding this city's existence. In the movie, Khansar is portrayed as a city situated between Pakistan and Gujarat, sparking discussion about its actual location.
Contrary to its portrayal in the film, the real Khansar does not lie between Pakistan and Gujarat. Khansar, in reality, is a county nestled in Iran, specifically within the Isfahan province. It thrives with a population of over 22,000 Persian inhabitants, boasting a rich cultural heritage and history.
Although sharing the same name, the Khansar depicted in the movie bears no resemblance to the genuine Khansar county in Iran.
Nonetheless, the movie's huge success in theaters has unintentionally directed attention towards this lesser-known area in Iran, making more people aware of its existence. The success of "Salaar" at the box office has created excitement and anticipation for its second part. Produced by Hombale Films with an impressive budget of around Rs. 400 crores, this outstanding movie continues to hold the audience's interest with its fascinating story and unique setting.
