OMG! Raju Trying Remake Luck With Khan?

Ace producer Dil Raju is trying to get the right film under his belt for a long time. Somehow he lost that Midas touch with movies, and none of the big movies produced by him have worked out in the last couple of years. But then, he sprang a surprise by teaming up with Bollywood’s fading superstar Salman Khan for a movie that Vamsi Paidipally will direct.

Reports are now doing the rounds that Dil Raju wants to play a safe game in Bollywood by landing content that already worked at the box office. Rumour has it that they are remaking Jayam Ravi’s Tamil film “Thani Oruvan” which is known for its intelligent screenplay and has already been remade as “Dhurva” in Telugu, featuring Ram Charan and directed by Surender Reddy. However, though the content of this film is interesting, the movie is too old and was already watched on OTT and other platforms by the Hindi audience too. At this juncture, whether that film will work is the biggest question.

Also when it comes to Thani Oruvan, it’s about a trainee IPS officer and Salman Khan looks no match to that. Many are wondering if this is just a rumour; otherwise, it would be a huge casting mistake to get Salman Khan for this story. Anyway, with Vamsi Paidipally directing it, the remake rumours are floating more, but hope the Telugu duo scores a blockbuster in Bollywood.
