Film careers often move like a rollercoaster full of surprises and sudden turns. Sharwanand, known for Run Raja Run, has faced many such twists over the past decade. Alongside acting, he started OMI, a business focusing on film production, hospitality, and consumer products. Yet in films, success has been elusive. On his birthday, he announced three ongoing projects, showing he is determined to keep moving forward despite past box office struggles.

One of Sharwanand’s upcoming films, a mass entertainer directed by Sampath Nandi titled Bhogi, had already completed two schedules but has been on hold for the past three months due to undisclosed reasons. Industry sources now reveal that Sampath Nandi has approached Gopichand with the same script, and discussions are reportedly ongoing. Gopichand, too, has faced a string of flops over the past decade, making this potential collaboration a high-stakes gamble for both the actor and the director.

Produced by KK Radha Mohan, Bhogi would mark the third collaboration between Sampath Nandi and Gopichand, after Gowtham Nanda and Seetimaar. Meanwhile, Sharwanand is busy finishing Naari Naari Naduma Murari, directed by Ram Abbaraju, and an untitled sports drama directed by Abhilash, both set to release next year. With the lead role in flux, Bhogi’s fate remains uncertain, and questions arise about whether it can succeed without Sharwanand.

As Sharwanand focuses on his other films and Gopichand possibly steps in, the industry is watching closely. Will this change give Bhogi the boost it needs, or could it become another missed opportunity for either actor? Only the audience and the box office will provide the answer.
