Trailer Talk: Sivaji’s Sampradayini Sounds Pretty Impressive

Cashing on the BGM song Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani from the superhit ETV win series #90s, actor Sivaji produced and starred in the series of the same title. What’s more exciting is that he is bringing former actress Laya back into the arc lights as the superhit Sivaji-Laya pair is exciting. Here’s what the trailer is like.

The story is about an honest Panchayat Secretary Sriram (Sivaji) who turns into a criminal after his greedy wife (Laya) and criminalistic son force him to do some crime, and that ensures rollercoaster comedy is what the movie is all about. Though the title suggests “Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani” is all about an innocent, the hero is not as innocent as he looks. The story took a new turn with police chasing the Sriram family. The punchlines, characterisation, and performances of Sivaji, Laya and child artist Rohan were all impressive.

While the title already generated curiosity, looks like the intriguing and engaging trailer made the excitement around the web film grow more. It’s hitting the marquee on February 12th, as it premieres on the ETV Win app. Looks like Writer & Director, Sudheer Sriram, has done a fabulous job. Going by the trailer, one would wonder if the makers will also release it in theatres or not.
