During the trailer launch event of Kaantha (Telugu) director and actor Samuthirakani made an interesting revelation that caught everyone’s attention. He said, “Bro 2 is ready. If once Pawan Kalyan gives his signal, the film will take off.” This statement surprised fans and the media alike.

The original film Bro, which was released in 2023 did not meet the expectations of Pawan Kalyan fans. It was a remake of the Tamil movie Vinodhaya Sitham. Although the movie had a good message, it failed to connect with the Telugu audience. Many fans were disappointed because Pawan Kalyan’s role was more like a guest appearance and lacked strong heroism. Despite decent performances from the cast, the film ended up as a below-average performer at the box office.

Fans, who initially opposed his remake streak, had supported films like Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak because of their emotional depth and powerful dialogues. But Bro pushed their frustration further as they expected an original mass entertainer from the Power Star.

Now, with Samuthirakani confirming that the script for Bro 2 is ready, fans seem divided. While some are curious about how the sequel will shape up, most fans are clearly unhappy about the idea. They are demanding that he focus on powerful, mass-action movies like Ustaad Bhagat Singh instead.
