Sandeep Reddy With Chiranjeevi: Tough But Brilliant

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the most celebrated director in Indian cinema, currently, after the tremendous success of Arjun Reddy and Animal. His upcoming film is titled Spirit and it has none other than pan India superstar Prabhas in the lead role.

However, for the time being, let us discuss about the prospective film of Sandeep Reddy Vanga with MegaStar Chiranjeevi. This film has been in the discussion stage for a while. Now as Sandeep Reddy had already revealed that Chiranjeevi is his favourite hero, and he really wishes to work with him one day if he finds the script.

However, as exiting as this may sound, this collaboration has its own set of challenges and abnormalities. The main issue here is that Sandeep Reddy is a very adult centric filmmaker who relies on strong emotions and unapologetic narrative.

But on the other hand, Chiranjeevi is a very soft actor and has to cater to wider section of the audience. The crossover between Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Chiranjeevi is a very extreme one as there are not many mutual points here.

But at the same time, this inequality brings a fair bit of excitement as well. If Sandeep really decides to make a film with Chiranjeevi and come up with irrelevant script for the mega Hero, then we could expect him to change his track from adult styled narrative to a different one, which caters to the wider section of the audience.

This would also bring out a new side of Sandeep Reddy, which is exciting in itself. More importantly, Chiranjeevi needs to change up his current style of filmmaking, as things are getting very monotonous, and even his fans are pushing him to do something out of the ordinary. Best possible solution for this situation is that Sandeep must come up with a winning script for Chiranjeevi and direct this film at the earliest.

There are reports that Sandeep Reddy has already narrated an idea to Chiranjeevi, but he is yet to come up with a full final draft, which could take a long time considering that he is occupied with other films already.

Sandeep is currently occupied with Prabhas and he will then be working with Ranbir Kapoor for Animal Park. So he is not free to work with anyone for the time being. But whenever Sandeep decides to come with a strong script for Chiranjeevi, we can expect this to be one of the biggest projects in regional Telugu cinema.
