Sandeep Reddy Vanga 's highly anticipated movie "Animal" has stirred quite a buzz, especially regarding Ranbir Kapoor's intense performance. Alongside him, Rashmika Mandanna has also gained attention, particularly for a dialogue that went viral due to her unique delivery. Director and writer Sandeep Reddy Vanga anticipated this reaction and explained in an interview with India Today why Rashmika spoke with clenched teeth in a specific scene.

According to Vanga, Rashmika's speech was intentionally delivered that way for an emotional scene. He expected a reaction since speaking with clenched teeth reflects certain emotions. Keeping this snippet in the trailer increased its viewership, but Vanga believes it will make more sense when seen within the larger context of the movie. "Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to speak in a particular way because it is a very emotional scene. I knew there would be a certain reaction to it. When someone is feeling a certain emotion, then they speak with their teeth clenched. I think keeping it in the trailer has only given it multiple views. When you see it as part of the larger scene in the movie, it will make more sense.”, he said.

For the unversed, in this specific scene, Rashmika, speaking through clenched teeth, expressed, "I really wish he had died that day" to Ranbir. Some internet users found her dialogue delivery unclear.

The movie, directed and written by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, stars Ranbir and Rashmika, with Anil Kapoor as Ranbir's father and Bobby Deol portraying the antagonist. Scheduled for release on December 1, the film will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
