Sankranthi 2026: A Royal Rumble!

Sankranthi Ki Vasthunnam could create a massive sensation at the box office this Sankranti festival season as the film went absolutely bonkers at the ticket counters and crossed ₹230 crore worldwide. This has now inspired a series of other films to actually aim the barrel at the coming Sankranti season.

Notably, we have multiple films that are now looking at the Sankranti 2026 season in order to have a lucrative theatrical window and generate maximum revenues.

Apparently, Chiranjeevi‘s upcoming film, which is to be directed by Anil Ravipudi is also likely to arrive at the ticket counters coming Sankranti season. This film has the potential to work very well at the ticket counters as both Chiranjeevi and Anil are very close names to the audience, and they go absolutely bonkers during the festival season.

Then it is being established that Venkatesh Daggubati who tasted immense success this Sankranti season is also preparing another film for coming Sankranthi. He has fully understood the advantages of releasing his films during the Sankranti season, and he is looking to make the most out of the same.

Then we have Ravi Teja, who is said to be preparing his own film for Sankranti 2026. Though the details of this project are under the sheets for now, the tentative plan is that he wants to release his film during the festival season at any cost.

After having seen the kind of madness created by Venkatesh and Anil, this festival season all of Tollywood is now looking at the coming Sankranti 2026 season as a very lucrative one. As a result, we could be witnessing multiple new films, arriving at the ticket counters coming festival season.

We could very well be observing a royal rumble, kind of situation next Sankranti season with multiple films lined up for release in a short period during the festival period.
