Two Weeks Of Free Run For Sankranthi 2026 Releases

The good one-week run of Sankranthi 2026 releases from Jan 12-18th has already resulted in massive collections for all the movies. Including Prabhas’ Raja Saab Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, Raviteja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, Naveen’s Anaganaga Oka Raju and Sharwa’s Nari Nari Naduma Murari, almost all the movies made most of the holidays.

While most of the films passed Monday’s acid test as well, though Prabhas and Raviteja’s movies haven’t witnessed heavy footfalls, all these Sankranthi 2026 movies ran into a lucky spot now. In fact, there are no noticeable and impactful Telugu movie releases till Jan 30th, thus giving a lot of breathing space for the Sankranthi movies.

Chiranjeevi’s movie Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu will be posting surplus numbers for the distributors, and they are expecting at least 10% overflows. At the same time, Naveen Polishetty and Sharwa have also crossed the breakeven target with their respective movies, and they will also post profits for the makers. Even Raviteja’s film will slip into breakeven mode, owing to these two weeks of free run.

The next upcoming release is Tarun Bhaskar’s remake film Om Shanti Shanti, which is hitting cinemas on Jan 30th.
