Sankranthi 2025: Biggest Task For Chiru-Anil!

Sankranti 2026 is going to be a very interesting one with multiple films arriving at the ticket counters in a short period of time. This Sankranthi season looks challenging for Anil Ravipudi.

Back in 2019, when F2 released, the other big films NTR Kathanayakudu and Vinaya Vidheya Rama were not family entertainers. F2 stood out as the only lighthearted film and became a huge success by appealing to all sections of the audience.

A similar situation seems to be repeating in 2025. Both Daaku and Game Changer are large scale action or serious films, while Shankara Vara Prasad is positioned as the only clean family entertainer of the festive season. This gives it a clear advantage on paper, much like F2 had in 2019.

However, the scenario is not that simple this time. Along with Shankara Vara Prasad, two more fun filled films Anaganaga Oka Raju starring Naveen Polishetty and Raja Saab starring Prabhas are also aiming to attract the same audience segment.

Raja Saab blends horror and comedy, while Naveen’s energetic festival promotions have already caught the public’s attention.

With multiple entertaining options releasing around the same time, Shankara Vara Prasad will have to fight hard to repeat the F2 style magic. A real box office battle is on the cards for Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu this Sankranthi.
