Sankranthi 2026 Movies: Here Are Updated Release Dates

Sankranthi has always been one of the most important seasons for Tollywood and every year the festival brings huge excitement to theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. For Sankranthi 2026, the rush is even bigger, as several top heroes and major films have confirmed their plans. The list includes movies from Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Ravi Teja, Sharwanand and Naveen Polishetty along with dubbed releases of Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan. With this many films lined up, the festival week promises strong competition and packed theatres.

The festival race officially begins on January 9, when two big films Prabhas’ Raja Saab and Vijay’s Jana Nayagan will release on the same day. This clash has already created huge buzz among fans, as both stars enjoy massive popularity. The next major release is on January 12, when Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu will arrive in cinemas. The film is expected to get a strong start because of the long weekend ahead.

On January 13, Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi will hit the screens. The makers are confident that the film will attract families during the holiday period. The next day, January 14, will see two films releasing together: Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju and Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi. To close the festive week, Sharwanand’s Naari Naari Naduma Murari is set to release on January 15. With this film, the Sankranthi lineup will complete a full week of continuous releases, giving audiences a wide range of genres and entertainment choices.
