'Sarangapani Jathakam', directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti, has completed its shoot. The final scene has been shot and the comedy entertainer is now out of takes!

Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, the force behind 'Gentleman' and 'Sammohanam' produced on Sridevi Movies, is glad to announce that dubbing works will take off from September 12. Shot over five schedules, the Priyadarshi-starrer was shot at Ramoji Film City and in locations in Hyderabad and Vizag.

Starring Roopa Koduvayur as the heroine, the film has a host of comedians playing different roles: Vennela Kishore, VK Naresh and Viva Harsha are among them. Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala, and Sivannarayana will also be seen.

Talking about what the movie means to him, Krishna Prasad says that 'Sarangapani Jathakam' answers his quest to produce an out-and-out, family-friendly comedy in the league of a Jandhyala comedy. While the legendary filmmaker wrote dialogues for Sridevi Movies' 'Chinnodu-Peddodu' and 'Aditya 369', he could never wield the megaphone for the banner. Indraganti's sensibilities give producer Krishna Prasad the satisfaction of working with a classy filmmaker of the Jandhyala kind.

Vivek Sagar, the go-to composer for new-age comedies, is in. PG Vinda and Raveender have handled the cinematography and production design departments, respectively.
