Sridevi Movies, Indraganti unveil 'Sarangapani Jathakam' Title & First Look

'Sarangapani Jathakam'. The very title hints at something related to palmistry and predictions. That's what director Mohanakrishna Indraganti has dealt with in the rollercoaster comedy entertainer. The film is enhanced by producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, the force behind 'Gentleman' and 'Sammohanam' produced on Sridevi Movies.
The title first look poster shows Priyadarshi as more of a lead character than a typical hero. He is excited about what he has just foreseen, ostensibly an astrological prediction. The crux of the story lies in how he goes on to figure out that predeterminism could be a half-baked thing.
Indraganti is adopting a wholesome, quirky comedy style in the footsteps of a Jandhyala. His story is also sprinkled with a twist, romance, music, and more. "Was the protagonist perennially torn between his irrational beliefs and his love interest, ending up a failure? The plot cast in the mould of hilarity," the makers say, teasing us about the film.
Starring Roopa Koduvayur as the heroine, the film has a host of comedians playing different roles: Vennela Kishore, VK Naresh and Viva Harsha are among them. Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala, and Sivannarayana will also be seen.
The production phase is nearing its completion. Vivek Sagar, the go-to composer for new-age comedies, is in. PG Vinda and Raveender have handled the cinematography and production design departments, respectively.
