Writer Sarath Chandra Targeting Mahesh Babu's Directors!
He reportedly said that he will begin taking legal action on 'Maharshi' too once the issue of 'Srimanthudu' gets settled.
The legal battle regarding the story of 'Srimanthudu' is still going in court. As we know, this film written and directed by Koratala Siva had superstar Mahesh Babu playing the lead role. It was released in 2015 and became a blockbuster. The strong message about adopting villages connected with the audience.
But the makers are now getting accused of lifting the story from a novel named 'Chachentha Prema'. Even Mythri Movie Makers released an official letter making their stand clear on this issue.
While the legal battle regarding the story 'Srimanthudu' is yet to be settled, writer Sarath Chandra has recently claimed that even Mahesh Babu's other hit movie 'Maharshi' is a complete copy of his novel. It looks like the writer is targeting one Mahesh Babu film after the other.
While there are slight similarities between 'Srimanthudu' and 'Maharshi' stating both as copies of his novels have once again put the spotlight on writer Sarath Chandra.
He reportedly said that he will begin taking legal action on 'Maharshi' too once the issue of 'Srimanthudu' gets settled. Looks like these allegations are not going to die anytime soon. 'Maharshi' is the 25th film of Mahesh and it is written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally.
The movie is about an ambitious young man who aims to achieve big things but changes his mind and returns to his roots after reaching the heights he longed for since childhood. The movie received a National Award too.
