The upcoming film Kara is set to release in theatres on April 30, 2026, and it is slowly gaining attention in the Telugu market. The movie stars Dhanush and is directed by Vignesh Raja. The Telugu version is being presented by CH Satish Kumar under Vigneswara Entertainments.

Vigneswara Entertainments is known for distributing several popular films in Telugu such as Kabali, Singham 3, Arjun Reddy, Khakee, and Salaar. With this experience, the team is now bringing Kara to Telugu audiences with strong expectations.

Speaking about his journey, Satish Kumar said he started small in Visakhapatnam and gradually moved into distributing big films. Over time, he gained confidence and wanted to step into bigger projects. He mentioned that his decision to acquire Kara was mainly based on the story, not just the hero’s popularity. According to him, today’s audience prefers strong content over star power.

He also revealed that nearly 80% of the film’s business is already completed before release, which is a good sign. Talking about the story, Satish Kumar explained that Kara is not just a crime or heist film, even though it includes a bank robbery. It is mainly about a man who faces difficult situations in life and fights to overcome them. The film mixes family emotions, survival struggles, and thrilling moments.

The movie is set during the time of the 1991 Gulf War, with a fuel crisis shown as part of the background. However, this is only a setting and not the main storyline. This backdrop helps make the story feel more real and relatable to viewers.

The music for the film is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, and the songs have received a positive response. One of the songs, written by Ramajogayya Sastry, adds emotional depth to the characters.

The film is expected to release on a large number of screens. Around 400 theatres are already confirmed, and the number may increase further.
