The movie releases this week went almost unnoticed but there is a batch who try to watch new releases every weekend whether it is big or small. After 'Parijaatha Parvam', the one film which grabbed the attention of the public to an extent is 'Tenant'. Though people thought it was something different due to the English title, it helped the movie to get some reach. Also, Satyam Rajesh's 'Maa Oori Polimera 2' became a good hit while made the public turn their heads towards this movie.

Satyam Rajesh too hoped that it would impress the people but the movie turned out to be a disappointment from the content point-of-view. Coming to the story, Goutham (Satyam Rajesh) and Sandhya (Megha Choudhary) are a couple. They live in an expensive flat happily. While they are planning to move to America, Sandhya gets murdered suddenly. At the same time, another guy (Bharat Kanth) commits suicide. A Lady police officer (Esther) investigates this case. How did Goutham who becomes the suspect gets out of this case and finds the truth from the rest of the story.

The movie is just 96 minutes long but the screenplay doesn't move quickly. It lacks gripping narration. Though director Yugandhar wrote an interesting plot and the backdrop of wife's death makes things engaging to a certain extent, the first half is all over the place. The scenes lack strength and the thrill factor goes missing. Going by the length, this movie would have been suited for an OTT platform. Looks like Satyam Rajesh faced a debacle in the form of 'Tenant'.
